How does the entry process work?

Ready to showcase your skills at the UKAAP competition?  We're excited to have you join us for this incredible event!  UKAAP is the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself and gain exposure in the aerial and pole community. Follow the steps below to enter the competition, and see below for our registration links.

Step 1:

Review the Entry Requirements.

Before you submit your application, make sure you meet all the eligibility criteria. UKAAP is open to amateur performers from across the UK. The competitor pack at the bottom of this page includes everything you need to know about the general rules, and category regulations. 

Step 2:

Choose Your Category.

UKAAP features a range of categories, so you can compete in the one that best suits your style and skill level. Choose From:

AERIAL HOOP & POLE CATAGORIES:

-Beginner

-Lower Intermediate

-Higher Intermediate

-Advanced

-Instructor

-Doubles

 

We have something for every type of pole & aerialist.

Step 3:

Submit Your Entry

Once you've chosen your category, it’s time to submit your entry. Use the Online Registration Form to fill in your details and choose your competition category. Make sure to provide all the necessary information. Entries open on 1st February 2026.

Spaces are limited, so make sure to submit your registration as early as possible!

You don't need to submit your video right away, as long as your form and fee has been received, your entry is secured!

 

Videos must be submitted by 31st May 2026.

Step 4:

Prepare Your Performance

Once your registration is confirmed, you can begin preparing your video submission.
 

Your video must be of good quality, show the entire apparatus at all times, include your chosen music, and remain unedited (no cuts). It must also fall within the maximum time limit for your selected category.

All videos must be submitted via a YouTube link. Please ensure your video is set to ‘Unlisted’ (not ‘Private’) so that our judging panel can access your submission without issue.”
